SiliThix - Silicone thixotropic thickening agent
SiliThix is a professional-grade silicone thixotropic additive designed to transform liquid silicone rubber into a brushable, spreadable, or trowelable paste. It is ideal for vertical surfaces, complex geometries, layered molds, and applications where poured silicone would drip or run.
This additive is compatible with both platinum-cure and tin-cure silicones and allows precise control over viscosity — from lightly thickened to fully paste-like — depending on the amount added.

How to Use
- Mix your silicone base and catalyst according to its standard ratio.
- Add SiliThix gradually while mixing.
- Stir thoroughly until the desired viscosity is reached.
- Apply immediately — thickening improves stability but does not significantly change cure chemistry.
Recommended Dosage

- Platinum cure: Soft 0A & Soft 15A
- Platinum cure: Fast 20A & Fast Purple 20A
- Platinum cure: Medium 30A
- Platinum cure: Med-Firm 45A
- Tin cure: 20A
- Tin cure: 40A
Not compatible with ultra-soft silicones:
- Platinum cure: Ultra-Soft 00-05
- Platinum cure: Ultra-Soft 00-10
May be compatible with other silicone rubbers — however, we strongly recommend testing a small batch before use.
